Suresha and Malavika Avinash. Filmed on a budget of ₹800 million (equivalent to ₹910 million or US$11 million in 2020), it was the most expensive Kannada film at the time of its release.[2] The film focuses on Rocky, a high-ranking mercenary, working for a leading gold mafia in Mumbai, who was born in poverty. Due to his high fame, he had being offered to give the total control of Mumbai by the leaders of the gold mafia he works - Rocky's employer Shetty's boss Andrews, prominent don Rajendra Desai, Desai's adopted son Kamal and discreet politician Guru Pandian. After this offer, he disguises himself as a slave-laborer and go to Narachi limestone mine (Kolar Gold Fields), aiming to assassinate Garuda, the future heir of Kolar Gold Fields, as per the order of the mafia leaders.

 Chapter 1 was released on 20 December 2018, while the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi dubbed versions were released the following day.
The film received positive reviews from critics and the lines of the film became known all over the world. This made the film do well commercially, earning ₹2.5 billion (equivalent to ₹2.8 billion or US$36 million in 2020) on its entire run, making it Kannada's highest-grossing film and a cult hit. 10] At the 66th National Film Festival, it won the stunt choreography award and the best special effects award.
