Co-ordinator Karan Johar said during the launch, “There is a lot of excitement in the room. I do not think that in my years of production and filmmaking I have seen a lot of trailer release power and it should be, because this is a place where every Hindi cinema has never been seen before. 'Shershaah' Movie Review: Encouraging, But Never Finding Its Way!
If only, in this 135-minute war proverb we would not know much about his boldness and commitment to the world we would never really know. After all, "Yeh Dil Maange More!"

Actors: Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Sahid Vaid, Abhiroy Singh, Shiv Pandit
Director: Vishnuvaradhan

Making a film based on a real-life hero, that too, in a genre that might be popular with everyone, is easy. With all the little information we get, the work of a script writer becomes very difficult. There’s everything available to any filmmaker who can dip his teeth into it, and not worry about its ending. But it is also very complicated to fall into the deceptive realm between truth and myth. Especially because as a biopic it has to have a set of rules: to give viewers a lot that is not in the public domain. After all, "Yeh Dil Maange More!"
A biopic of Dharma Productions 'Shershaah' based on the martyr Kargil Captain Vikram Batra, who was drafted into the Indian Army at the 13th Battalion Jammu & Kashmir Rifles in 1997, and later promoted to captain on the battlefield itself, after the lead. one of the most difficult activities in the mountain war in Indian history. Her story was waiting to be told about celluloid, and it should be.

Often referred to as ‘SherShah’ in the captured messages of the Pakistani Army, he laid down his life during the 1999 Kargil War, and was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest and most prestigious prize of heroism.

Vikram Batra (Sidharth Malhotra, who also played his twin Vishal) from his childhood, wanted to join the army. As he grows up he is ready to fulfill his dream when he joins the beautiful college Dimple Cheema (Kiara Advani) and wears enduring love for him. Their love blossoms fast and like in any Bollywood film, there is a bitter opposition from the girl's father who would like her to stay with a man from their Sikh community only.

Later in the story, after Captain Vikram Batra was assigned to the army, the next thing most of us are familiar with is this: a sudden cross-border attack that took the Indian army by surprise, and the death of a small group of soldiers.

Everything happens in quick succession leaving viewers with no time to meditate, or to let some action take over. How a typical 25-year-old man can be an exemplary courage in very difficult situations should be a matter of extraordinary courage, confidence, love and great physical strength. He was so committed to his goal that when he decided to do something, he stuck to it. But we do not know much about the man who made such decisions. Hindi films, in particular, revolve around certain rules, and depending on how you look at them, these rules can be a beneficial guide, or a deterrent barrier. The more writers adhere to the rules, the more well-known they are. If they separate, it is very dangerous to separate themselves from the type of film divided under it.

Like a movie, ‘Shershaah’ never finds its way. Not that it is unpleasant, or absurd, or really wrong. In fact, it is a film in which Sidharth Malhotra gets a rare opportunity to watch and imitate the character he plays. A wonderful story that freely combines work, patriotism and determination that is the rich food of any film.

Despite having a lot of stuff, director Vishnu Vardhan and author Sandeep Srivastava do not take the opportunity to create an innovative saga that does not innovate in an amazing way. It seems that the only thing they had in mind was to introduce Malhotra as a reliable actor who could carry the film on his strong shoulders alone.

Other scenes such as the girl’s parents ’opposition to her marriage to Captain Batra seem compulsory and unnecessary, it may be, to part with the war scenes that became numerous later, or to add other pieces just to justify the inclusion of a female leader in the film. But since we are unfamiliar with his immediate personal background, we should not hold on to it, and let it go. There are also other common suspects who appear and disappear: a great friend of our hero, the hero's concern for members of his team and he is always considerate even during surgery on the field, an adult gets insecure about our hero's heroism etc. I am not. to suggest even once that Captain Vikram Batra was not a good man. If only, in this 135-minute war proverb we would not know much about his boldness and commitment to the world we would never really know.

There is a good sequence of action one cannot miss to compliment. The action-packed scenes of Stefan Richter and Sunil Rodrigues, as well as the filming of Kamaljeet Negi are enlightening even when you think about the unnecessary information about leading couples adding tedium.

The ‘Shershaah’ begins with a brief look at the life of Captain Batra, but soon directs himself to the battlefield where the action and other essentials are. The war cry of the marty Captain 'Yeh Dil Maange More' when he reported the 5140 point capture. Shortly thereafter, he volunteered to be part of the next campaign, to replace 4875. Looking at the life of such a brave army officer. however, it is encouraging, and the film is glorified by that date.
But for viewers who wanted to peel off the layers to peek inside Captain Batra were left "asking for more!"
